Robert K. O'Brien, MD is board certified in family practice.  He completed his residency training with a fellowship in emergency medicine and trauma from Brookdale University Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.  Dr. O'Brien brings more than 20 years of experience to Bee Caves and Lakeway Medical both practicing and teaching family and emergency medicine.

Fluent in Spanish, Dr. O'Brien has a special interest in international health and foreign missions.  Having played piano and organ professionally, he has an avid appreciation of music.  Dr.  O'Brien and his family reside in the Lake Travis area.  "I feel privileged to be a doctor.  Family practice with an emphasis on urgent care is where I feel I can do the most good.  My satisfaction comes from my relationship with my patients."
