Education:
Dr. Macfarlane received her B.S. (Honor Psychology) from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1968. 
She then got her MD, CM from McGill University in 1972.

She has been licensed since 1973 in Ontario, Canada and from 1979 in Texas.

Certificant, Canadian College of Family Practice – 1997
Board Certified in Family Practice in USA – 1998 (re-certified in 2004)
Awarded fellowship in Canadian College of Family Practice in 2008

Background:
Dr. Macfarlane was born in Montreal Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada and grew up in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.  She moved to Toronto for an internship and remained there in solo family practice until 1996 when she moved to Amarillo, TX.  She worked in a large hospital and managed an urgent care center there until July of 2008.

Hobbies:
Dr. Macfarlane enjoys gardening, painting, skiing, reading, dancing, and listening to music.
